Updates for Chief Architect 6.0
This page will guide you to the correct link to update the 32-bit version of Chief Architect 6.0. Note: DirectX versions are always 32-bit.

Got the right date?
Make sure you get the correct update, or else it won’t work. Open Chief Architect and choose Help/About. The date of the program will be displayed in that dialog box.

Double check
After running the Update, start Chief Architect and check Help/About, this time you should see the new date of the update you downloaded.

Help! My version isn’t here!
You cannot run an update on a beta version of Chief Architect 6.0. You must install the release version of Chief60 before you can update to the new version.

What do I do now?
Once you’ve downloaded the updated release, make sure you’ve closed Chief Architect. You won’t be able to update it if it’s open. Then double-click on the name of the update program file, it will guide you through the update process.

Latest Version
The latest version available for Chief Architect 6.0 is March 13, 2000. Click on the date of the version that you are currently using. Underneath each update is a description of the date it will take you to. If the date for your version is not available, install the July 18, 1999 version from your cdrom and use the first update. Technical Support may have an update for your specific date.
